It’s Christmas in New York City. A matchstick seller shivers on the steps of a grand house, longing to be warm. Her wish is answered when her grandmother appears, granting her a series of magical dreams that bring her into the heart of the family she longs to join, changing all their Christmases forever. Hans Christian Andersen’s timeless fairytale unfolds the transformative power of kindness and the deep connections of love.

When Wendell discovers that his wife Tilda and their beloved tree have vanished from the backyard, he must venture into the nearby forest to bring them home. Confronted with shifting landscapes, unusual creatures, and a mysterious lurking presence, Wendell soon learns that the key to finding Tilda is to first unlock the mystery of The Wilds. Charming and profoundly touching, this wordless award-winning show features WONDERHEADS’ signature masks, whimsical puppetry, and enchanting music, and moves its audiences to both laughter and tears. Pixar meets Miyazaki meets Henson in this extraordinary adventure!

Troubles at home prompt shy Charlie to escape to a rural fishing lodge in Georgia, where he is convinced to act the part of an exotic foreigner who speaks no English. His ruse sparks a hilarious web of misunderstandings as he inadvertently becomes privy to secrets and scandals that culminate in a showdown between the charming locals and the town villains. With a delightful blend of humour and heart, The Foreigner celebrates the unexpected connections that emerge when people rally for a common cause.

Daniel Maclvor weaves a poignant story of three sisters in a Cape Breton kitchen as they confront their dying mother's wishes. Agnes, a struggling actress in recovery, seeks reconciliation with her past; Theresa, a disillusioned nun, finds solace in caring for her mother; and Louise, is a social misfit discovering newfound independence. This long-overdue journey to Marion Bridge becomes their story of reconciliation, love, and healing.

A Canadian musical ode to a truly remarkable family legacy of redemption. An orphaned teenager finds himself scamming on the city streets before being placed in the care of an elderly widow in a rural farming community. Through a dramatic change of scenery and unfamiliar acts of kindness, he discovers purpose, belonging and the love of his life. The songs are unforgettable. The story, true.

A mother’s struggle with chronic depression inspires her child’s life-changing mission: to create a list of Every Brilliant Thing to prove life is worth living. The task evolves into a profound exploration of life’s ups and downs and as the child grows into adulthood, the list grows too. With warmth, humour, and an interactive twist, this poignant performance celebrates resilience, gratitude, and reminds us of the beauty hidden in everyday moments.

Authentic and intimate open-air summer concerts hosted at Rosebud's Festival Stage.

In this bold new play, Susanne unravels a long-buried family mystery filled with foreboding dreams, a sole surviver, and a harrowing escape. Confronting her formidable mother and fiercely loyal brother, she is drawn back into the fantastical world of her childhood, piecing together a story she never fully understood. Through this journey, Susanne reexamines life’s most defining moments, uncovering who she truly is by rediscovering where she came from.

Christmas magic comes to life when elderly Kris Kringle steps in as Macy’s Santa Claus, insisting he’s the genuine article. With warmth and kindness, Kris rekindles a sense of childlike wonder in even the most skeptical hearts, especially young Susan and her no-nonsense mother. When his sanity is questioned, Kris finds himself at the centre of a courtroom battle where he must prove that believing in the impossible is where miracles begin.
